Selling Costs
When selling real estate in Dubai, you should take into account 2–3% sales costs of the selling price. The exact costs depend on your real estate agent, the project developer, and whether there is an outstanding mortgage on the property.
Below is an overview of the costs to consider when selling real estate in Dubai. Please note that these costs may vary in other emirates.
Please note that all costs are estimated and may change at any time, Escalate Real Estate can't be held accountable for any changes to the costs associated with buying a property.
Off-Plan & Resale property
- NOC (No Objection Certificate): approximately 500–5.000 AED + applicable VAT. Costs depend on the developer
- Brokerage fees: 2% + 5% VAT
Mortgage costs
Do you have a mortgage on your home? Then you need to take into account additional costs for paying off the mortgage and transferring the property free of any mortgage. Please note that different terms apply to an interest-free mortgage.
Early repayment charges: typically 1% of the outstanding mortgage amount, up to a maximum of 10.000 AED
Mortgage cancellation at the Dubai Land Department: approximately 1.400 AED
Mortgages are handled directly with the bank. Do you have a payment plan dat that is not fully paid off? This is not a problem; you can still resell the property. We arrange the sale and the repayment of the payment plan with the developer and the buyer.
